My name is Kathryn.
I invite you to join me as I journey on this path – pondering purpose.
A little about myself and my background…
I was born in the Belgium Congo to Scottish missionary parents.
As a child, Congo was my home.
For my primary school years, I went to a boarding school in Zambia for missionaries’ children.
I had a year in Scotland when I was thirteen then on to Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) where I stayed at a hostel for missionaries’ children and attended a public school.
On completion of my schooling, I went to Scotland to do my nurses’ training in Glasgow.
I met the love of my life when he was on a working holiday in the UK. This ‘meeting’ resulted in me immigrating to New Zealand which has been my home all my adult life.
We have been blessed with ten children – and our children have blessed us with thirteen grandchildren.
My parents were Christians and being a Christian is a vital part of my journey.
